THE JOURNEY THROUGH THE WORLD´S MOST BEAUTIFUL ACHIPELAGO

To travel to the Väderöarna is to travel through one of the world&#;s most beautiful archipelagos. The journey begins in Hamburgsund (also via Fjällbacka during the period 17/6 – 18/8) where you can park the car at a convenient distance from our jetty. Our boats are right next to the cable ferry in Hamburgsund. Once on the way, the journey goes through the picturesque strait, via the southern parts of Fjällbacka&#;s fantastic archipelago before we cross the Väderöfjorden and finally reach the harbor on Storö / Väderöarna.

How long does the trip take?

The trip is about 8 nautical miles long and takes about 35 minutes and on the way out we might see some seals!

How often does the boat depart?

Boat trips to and from the island run more or less daily, subject to change &#; all year round.

Hello! This time I come back not with one island, but a whole archipelago!

Väderöarna (which means Weather islands in Swedish) is an archipelago of small hilly islands and rocks, in the west of Sweden, a 30 minutes boat ride from picturesque Fjällbacka. calls them "The last outpost. A place far from the everyday noise. No stress, no must-dos, no hullabaloo. Way off the beaten track." Sounds perfect to me! They are sometimes even called "the most beautiful archipelago in the world", and indeed the islands look very charming with all the tiny red houses and the beautiful nature around them.
